Wouldn't selling the M60 give enough money to buy a m16va and spare change? Then save more money for a new M60 and have two guns.

Since you want that new m60 coming out soon, I'd sell the TOP and get the m16vn only if you'll keep it around (spare weapon is nice with technical difficulties out in the field and/or a different style of fighting). Otherwise just save the money and wait for the better m60 to hit the market. An m14 would also fit your 'Nam theme, something to consider.

na, im dumping the entire 60 idea. the new one is great, but it requires these dumb box mags that hang off the side. they get in the way, AND come seperatly. so thats an extra 200 fuking dollars for a damn clip. moreover these clips get in the way and have to connect directly to your battery. so you have these stupid clips, that get in the way, drain your battery and cost 200 bucks. FUCK THAT. so im buying this custom m16 vn from wgc and an m79. the end.

upgrades are for experienced airsoft crackheads with technical experience. anyone who doesn't know why it's bad to remove a fuse should NOT purchase a gun with upgrades.

He's not ordering a stock TM m16vn though. This is a complete custom job with a ton of G&P parts, so it's basically up to the workmanship in terms of quality. On another note, I've heard the TM m16vn internals are fine.

TM style M16vn has a version 2 gearbox like every other armalite (excluding ICS split-gearbox insanity) - makes sense since the model was actually released after the TM M16a2. The only weapon I'm aware of that uses a version 1 is the FAMAS. As this is a bastard French gun, everything makes sense.

From my knowledge every Marui Armalite uses a version 2 mech box. So basically you can upgrade up the wazzoo.
The version one is only found in the FAMAS and it was Marui's first aeg. I heard the FAMAS is a decent though, finding upgrades are a bitch. That also goes for the M14, uzi, and mp7 they use version 7 mech boxes.
