if you had the choice to carry an m60 e4 vs. an m240 or m249 believe me youd choose the m60 e4. its ligher than an m240 by alot, the original m60 a1 is even lighter than the 240, and the m249 shoots a smaller round. only problem is were not manufacturing the m60 e4 in mass amounts so only the seals and special forces are getting it.

ok its good that u never have to stopshooting but the fact of the mater is that if you are shooting 800 rounds without stopping... you should fucking die there is no need at all for it in fact its just a waste of ammo... so yes it is helpful if you are being charged by a few battalions of enemy troops and u are alone but if the abiltity to not stop shooting is all that makes the 60 better than the saw than its not really much of an advantage after all.

yeah, but the point is you never have to change the barrel, you dont need to carry another one like a 240 gunner, it gives you a huge peace of mind knowing that you wont have to touch a red hot barrel. and givin its stopping power id rather have it over a m249. its almost the same size now. it can be used in more of a saw gunner rather than a support gunner. like the 240 is not meant to run and gun. if you wanted to and you had a 60 e4 you could.
