the M14 in stock trim uses an 8.4v 1200 mah NiCd C cell x8 medium sized pack, similar to the utg ak-47. the preferred type is the 8.4v 3300 mah NiMh pack.

i have a 6-12v 900-1800 mah smart charger. it's actually really easy to build a charger...just search for schematics on how to build a 10vdc 300 mah power supply/battery charger. a 9 volt charger will not charge a 9.6v battery; if the output voltage is less than the battery, it'll just burn itself out trying to charge the battery.

You mean to tell me I took all my gear out here for nothing? I have this battery (which interestingly enough seemed to have plenty of charge after not being used since October '06) plugged into a wall for no reason at all?? I want a non-smartass reply about whether or not there is a game tomorrow.
