Had this gun for about 2 weeks now. Been through one battle and a bunch of just messing around with it. Got it for $140.00 bucks off www.evike.com with free shipping.(cuz it was over 100 bucks) Got to me inside of a week. My first impressions of the gun were it was heavy and the fake wood looked really really nice. The performance of the gun was great for the price. The battery lasted me forever. The range is that inbetween the SRC and the UTG MP5 on a good charge. It places the rounds in a fairly good grouping. The gun shoots where you want it to go after you lube it up, break it in, and adjust the hop up. ROF is perfect for a assult rifle. There are only two complaints I have with this gun are the high cap clips suck. They feed when they wanna. And the safety should not be called a safety. If you put the gun at certain angles and pull the trigger, it shoots. Looks-8 (missing real markings and nicer parts) Build-7 (the safety dammit) Range-7.5 Accuracy-7.5 Price-9 (almost can't beat it) Durability-8 (so far so good) pros- *Price *performance *feel cons- *highcaps *safety *plastic reciver (minor quim)

Does it work with the star mags or the tm standards?

It's supposed to work with all Tokyo Marui compatible magazines. I love the feel, heft, and look, but the performance seemed a bit odd.

I only fired it a few times, but I didn't see the feed problem myself. The hop up was obviously set too high on the example I fired and the rounds were also arcing around more than I expected. I'd like to be able to fire the thing with the hop up off and then gradually turn it up.

Also worth noting, UTG is about to release an SKU version of their AK, CQB WarHawk Commando.

UTG AK = not such a good bang for the buck practically, but aesthetically it looks super sweet. unless i can get my hands on one and try to figure out why it's not that great, i wouldn't reccommend getting one unless you just want one to say "i have an AK that looks awesome!" which is totally worth it in my opinion.

Here ill enlighten you all. get steel bushings, poly piston head with a good O-ring, complete rewire job, M100 spring, and a new battery something with more amps gets you in the 330-350 FPS zone. cheap upgrades so for under 200 bucks u get a good looking gun that does 350FPS. now that brings the bang for your buck rather high.

this did not tell me what makes it a crappy gun at all...it's just an upgrades list. Soldier, tear that gun down so that we may know exactly what causes it to perform with such lackluster results.
