Looks good if you like SD5s, go for it. All the better if you plan on continuing to use the telescoping stock and would like easier battery installation.

Ha, we actually found out about the holster a day or two after ordering the mp5s - so we missed out on cheap shipping. Regardless, Ron figures he's going to make a holster onto his BDU jacket eventually. We're both pretty interested in that sd5 mod, are you getting it anytime soon? Don't know how Brian could have modded his mp5 beyond the stg44/hk91 it used to be...

just get 16's more reliable, better accuracy and range, and... its an m16 and no jokes about me being rich white kid, i had to work for my money you sons of bitches, i just wanted to put that out there

the MP5 mod worked out beautifully, and it functions great. next up is the modifications to the SRC M4. stock spring modification, M16 barrel upgrade, battery enhancement, more to follow.

I think the mp5 needs a bipod now (to eliminate need for weights with something slightly utilitarian and for awesome). Fabricate that sucker. Also, don't forget the cylinder without ports for the m16 barrel.
